The Cleaning Machine (“we”, “us”) operates thecleaningmachine.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit the quote request form, that is:
- Your name
- Your business name, if you provide one
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Details about the facility you want cleaned, type, approximate size, how often you need service, and anything else you write in the message field
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not set marketing cookies. There is no third-party tracking script on any page you have visited here.
Why We Collect It
Solely to respond to your enquiry: to contact you about your request, arrange an on-site assessment, and prepare a quote. That is the only purpose.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
Who It Is Shared With
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Two service providers process data on our behalf in order to make the website work:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes form submissions. Their servers may log standard technical information such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
- Resend delivers the quote request from the website to our inbox.
These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
How Long We Keep It
Quote requests arrive as email and are kept in our business records for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, to administer the relationship. If you did not become a client and would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete it.
How It Is Protected
This site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to quote requests is limited to the people at The Cleaning Machine who need it in order to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
Your Rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information, subject to legal requirements
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your information
To exercise any of these, email hello@thecleaningmachine.ca. We will respond within 30 days as PIPEDA requires.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so.
